Just professionally up-fitted; New 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4x4!
Once more Rock Solid Vans delivers an amazing professional up-fitting of this Blue Gray, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, 144″ wheel base, 2500, with high roof, and super solid rugged 4×4 drive train using their hand crafted modern industrial flair!
This stunning sprinter was built using the high value 80/20 extruded aluminum framing system, making it structurally sound, light weight, super strong, and literally bolted to the vehicle. This framing is fastened together using heavy duty brackets and bolts that will not fall apart, delaminate, or rot over time as happens with plywood construction. The cabinetry is all hand crafted, using solid White Oak for the cabinet faces and nine ply Baltic Birch for the dovetailed drawers with beefy 1/2” slotted, solid bottoms to survive all the miles of your adventures. Topped off with sleek handles, secure latches, and strong gas struts to keep them open until you are ready to close them. The overhead cabinets stretch the length of the van giving you 5 large spacious storage areas with two over the bed and three over the kitchen. You will love seeing the grain of the luxurious hardwood running the length of these cabinets as it was crafted out of a large continuous section of solid wood.
The electrical system boasts 600 amp hours of Lithium battery storage that is charged via solar, the vans alternator and also a 30amp shore power connection. The heart of the system is the Victron Multiplus 2 inverter and battery charger connected to a Furrion power distribution panel. We use marine grade wiring with plenty of redundancy in connections, fuses, and breakers keeping both the DC and AC systems running smoothly.
In the kitchen a two burner induction stove can be used via the inverter and automatically switched over to shore power when available. Likewise the van has outlets that draw power from either the battery or shore power along with USB charging ports everywhere.
There is a huge 32 gallon fresh water tank, a 7 gallon grey water tank, alongside a Camplux water heater powered by a travel safe Ignik propane system giving you near endless hot water for the sink or outdoor shower.
The living quarters are heated by either the Espar heater that runs off the van’s Diesel tank or an electric heat pump. When it’s too warm outside you can cool down using the Dometic Penguine rooftop air conditioner or just catch the breeze via the three awning windows or the Maxxair ventilation fan.
The desired temperature is retained in this 4 season van due to the R6 insulation built into the subfloor, alongside 3M Thinsulate and Reflectics that coat the walls and ceiling filling all the crevasses. A comfortable 1/8” foam lines the walls for added sound dampening and adds a layer of comfort to the luxurious tweed fabric.
Dining at camp will be more comfortable than ever with a spacious countertop that is accented perfectly by sleek and modern aluminum backsplash walls that makes cleaning quick and easy. The spacious bench seat fits two, so you can invite the friends in for hors devours and a drink after those epic backcountry adventures as you relax on the front swivel seats and maneuver the swivel table to the perfect spot. The Lagun table can swivel to work with several different seating options as necessary.
There are 4 large drawers built into the main kitchen structure and several more built into the bench to maximize storage and one that can even hide a Dometic cassette toilet. Open the huge Isotherm Cruise 130 fridge for a cold drink or simply crash in the queen size bed and enjoy!
You’ll be looking BA as you drive down the road in this beast with its blacked out hood, side skirts, and flares. Sporting wicked wheels, a beefy roof rack, side ladder as well as a massive LED light bar.
You won’t have to fear getting stuck in the snow as you tour the resorts, or head south for the winter, as this 4×4 van is fitted with beefy BFG KO2 mountain snowflake safety rated all-terrain tires that are complimented by Black Rhino performance rims.
We hope to help you live your vanlife dreams. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship and back our builds with a one year warranty. Financing may be partially available, contact for details.

Rock Solid Vans
Rock Solid Vans is proud to have converted this beautiful 4x4 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter into a luxury campervan.
This van was framed using ultra light extruded aluminum. Not only is this product super light, but it is also far stronger than your typical 2x4 and plywood framing. The aluminum is bolted to the chassis. When it comes to a long lasting build, this is the way to go as it will not fall apart or delaminate over time.
The cabinetry was built with nine ply Baltic Birch and the drawer facings are made from Walnut. The bed is 6 feet long with a 6'7'' max width and a 6'3'' minimum width. There are 6 usable cabinets with three more that are utilitarian. There are 6 drawers in the kitchen area, with a 7th that is used to house a cassette toilet. All of the drawers are dovetailed.
The electrical system consists of Victron components, including a Mulitplus 2 power inverter that doubles as a 50 amp shore power charge control. The 30 amp solar charger is connected to two 100 watt panels, and there is a 30 amp dc-dc charge controller. This runs through a Lynx distributor where it is appropriately fused and then sent to a Furrion distribution box that houses both 12v and 120v power, passing through fuses and breakers as it is distributed throughout the van. The wiring is all marine grade stranded wire.
There is a 36 gallon fresh water tank and a 7 gallon gray water tank. The water heater is a 4 gallon Bosh heater that has an outdoor shower connection.
Temperature control in the van consists of a Dometic Penguin ii air conditioner with a heat pump for winter camping. Under the passenger seat there is an Espar Airtronic heater that runs off the diesel tank. A Mexxair fan, alongside three awning windows provides airflow. We've also added three layers of insulation to the walls and ceiling. The first layer is a reflectic insulation, followed by 3M Thinsulate. Finally, there is an 1/8th inch foam under the tweed fabric that covers the walls and ceiling. The floor has R9 insulation.
The floor is life proof flooring, the countertop and swivel table is butcher block.
Both the driver and passenger seat swivel.
